As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation and maintenance of our aggregate plant. You will perform planned and breakdown maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to a safe, efficient, and productive work workplace. This position will report to the Maintenance Technician Lead and will be scheduled for afternoon shifts, with weekly hours estimated to be 40-50 hours (may fluctuate, pending operational needs).

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on conveyors, crushers, screeners, and other mining machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repairs.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Document maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and parts usage.
- Work closely with operations and management teams to schedule maintenance and minimize disruptions to production.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and rigging as required.
- Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers to identify and resolve mechanical or process constraints.
- Keep supervisors informed about progress, challenges, and decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

- A commitment to working safely
- Ability to acquire necessary tickets and training (First Aid, Confined Space, WHMIS etc.)
- Minimum two (2) years of mining equipment maintenance experience.
- Millwright certification preferred but not required.




- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and rigging.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, dusty).
- Must be able to walk and stand for periods at a time
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and evenings as required by management
- Aerial Boom Lift and Telehandler experience an asset
