AI learning content needs an Instructional Designer with pedagogical expertise, accessibility knowledge, and collaborative communication skills. This full-time term position supports Amii’s Training Team.

At Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute, the Instructional Designer develops AI literacy programming for varied audiences. The position guides educators in creating high-quality AI and machine learning content. It supports blended learning, HyFlex, and microcredential formats while reporting to the Manager, Instructional Support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain optimal learning environments for clients
- Support learner-centred curriculum across multiple delivery formats
- Apply WCAG standards and universal design principles




- Create e-learning content using rapid authoring tools
- Improve Training team processes, tools, and resources

Requirements:

- Post-secondary degree in Education, Machine Learning, or related field
- Three or more years of instructional design experience
- Curriculum, learning exercise, technical illustration, and evaluation tool experience
- Proficiency with Articulate 360 and D2L Brightspace
- Solid communication, detail, prioritization, and collaboration skills
