As a Health, Safety and Sustainability Advisor, you will advise New Horizon Co-op on varied health, safety, and sustainability activities. The position includes program development, regulatory monitoring, training coordination, incident investigation, and documentation. You will also support supervisors and managers with WCB claims and Return to Work programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety programs
- Coordinate training and maintain accurate employee records
- Conduct orientations for employees and contractors
- Investigate incidents, identify hazards, and track corrective actions




- Monitor legislation and support compliant program updates

Requirements:

- High School Diploma and Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
- Three to six years of relevant experience
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License and clean abstract
- Strong Microsoft Office and health and safety systems knowledge
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills
