This Facilities Supervisor oversees maintenance personnel and operations across the Hotel and Event Centre. The hands-on position covers heating, cooling, electrical systems, air quality, domestic water distribution, snow removal, and preventative maintenance. Robust supervision, communication, organization, and decision-making skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate staffing levels
- Maintain property systems, equipment, services, and indoor areas
- Manage fire sprinkler and alarm inspections
- Conduct facility inspections and identify potential hazards
- Supervise snow removal and sanding operations year-round
Requirements:
- Post-secondary building operations or power engineering education
- Three to four years of progressively responsible trade operations experience
- Five or more years of relevant working experience may substitute
- Valid Class 5 license and site driving permit requirements
- Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, shifts, and on-call work
