Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a healthcare office. This role is often the first point of contact for patients and helps ensure a welcoming, organized, and efficient experience. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and comfortable balancing patient service with administrative tasks.

Duties

- Welcome patients, manage check-in and check-out, and maintain an organized front desk.
- Answer and route calls using multi-line phone systems; respond to routine inquiries and relay messages appropriately.
- Schedule, confirm, and update appointments while coordinating with clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic medical records in accordance with office procedures and privacy requirements.
- Assist with forms, document preparation, filing, scanning, and other administrative tasks.
- Verify and update patient information and help keep records complete and current.
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers,



and colleagues.
- Support the smooth flow of daily office operations and help maintain a clean, orderly reception area.

Skills

- Previous medical office experience, dental office experience, or dental receptionist experience is preferred.
- Office experience or administrative experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records; experience with Oscar Pro
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
- Experience with Dentrix is beneficial, particularly in a dental setting.
- Strong customer service, communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and follow established privacy procedures.
- Comfort using computers, scheduling tools, and multi-line phone systems.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
