Overview

We are seeking a third- or fourth-year Plumbing Apprentice to support licensed plumbers on residential and commercial projects. You’ll build on your existing trade experience while helping with installations, repairs, maintenance, and job-site preparation. This is a paid apprenticeship role with hands-on learning and supervision from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

- Assist with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, fit, assemble, and secure materials.
- Read and follow blueprints and schematics to support accurate installations.
- Measure materials and complete calculations using basic math.
- Help troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform routine system maintenance.
- Support related work involving mechanical systems, HVAC, and carpentry as project needs require.
- Assist with equipment and component assembly; apply welding skills when appropriate and under proper supervision.




- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area, following job-site procedures and instructions.
- Communicate with the crew, ask questions when needed, and continue developing trade skills.

Experience

- Current enrollment in, or completion of, a plumbing apprenticeship program at the third- or fourth-year level.
- Prior plumbing and construction experience, with a growing ability to complete tasks under supervision.
- Familiarity with mechanical knowledge, hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, schematics, and basic math.
- Exposure to carpentry, HVAC, assembly, welding, or equipment maintenance is helpful.
- Commitment to secure work practices, reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Pay: $19.35-$41.83 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
