About the role
Sudbury Hyundai’s Parts Department is hiring a reliable, hands-on person for a 60-day contract to support our busy tire season. Your main job is to be the link between our dealership and our off-site tire storage facility, making sure our customers’ tires get where they need to go, on time and in the right spot. When you’re not on a tire run, you’ll help out around the dealership wherever you’re needed.
What you’ll do
- Drive a company van between the dealership and our tire storage facility
- Load and unload customer tire and wheel sets safely
- Store tires correctly and accurately so they can be found quickly when the customer’s appointment comes up
- Label, track and organize tire sets according to our storage system
- Keep the van and storage area clean, organized and secure
- Work with the Parts and Service teams to make sure tires are ready for scheduled appointments
- Help out around the dealership as needed, such as receiving and putting away parts, moving vehicles on the lot, running errands, and general housekeeping
What we’re looking for
- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence and a clean driving record (a driver’s abstract may be requested)
- Able to lift and carry tires and wheels repeatedly, and work in cold or outdoor conditions
- Organized and detail-oriented: getting the right tires back to the right customer matters
- Dependable, punctual and able to work independently
- Warehouse, shipping/receiving or automotive experience is an asset, but not required. We’ll train the right person.
Details
- Pay: $19.00/hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Term: 60-day contract
- Company van provided for all driving duties
