We are a leading John Deere dealership in the Maritimes, proudly serving our customers through 15 locations. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Manager for our Middleton, NS branch.

As the Service Manager, you will lead and organize our service team to enhance performance and ensure customer satisfaction in a dynamic branch setting.

Responsibilities:

- Clearly articulate job expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and mentor team members to achieve peak performance
- Ensure compliance with all manufacturer warranty processes within the service department
- Leverage business management systems to create and track work and repair orders
- Act as the primary liaison for customers and the sales team regarding repair scheduling, quotes, and updates
- Design staffing schedules, assign tasks based on priorities and skill levels, and manage workflow effectively
- Track departmental efficiency, oversee the operational budget, and manage expenses
- Participate actively in recruiting, staffing, and developing training initiatives for the service team

Qualifications:

- Experience in a leadership role (ex.



Shop Foreman, Lead Hand, Supervisor, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic knowledge of financial management in a service department, with the ability to analyze internal reports
- Background in the agricultural, heavy equipment, or related fields preferred
