Position: Web Designer – WordPress, UI/UX & Web Design

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer who can design, build, and maintain qualified websites for MAIZON and our clients.

The primary focus of this position is web design, UI/UX, visual layout, WordPress, landing page design, and creating engaging digital experiences.

The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design and understands how to turn ideas, branding, and marketing campaigns into attractive, user-friendly websites. You should also be comfortable working with WordPress, Elementor or similar website builders, and have practical knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Coding knowledge is required as a supporting skill, but this is not a software engineering or programming-focused position. We are looking for someone who thinks like a designer and can also work comfortably with the technical side of websites.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Design & UI/UX — Primary Focus

- Design modern, visually engaging, and user-friendly websites
- Create website layouts, landing pages, page structures, and digital experiences
- Develop wireframes and visual concepts based on client requirements and brand guidelines




- Create responsive designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
- Design websites that are easy to navigate and aligned with marketing and business objectives
- Improve website usability, visual hierarchy, navigation, and overall user experience
- Create or prepare web graphics, banners, images, and other digital assets when required
- Adapt website designs to different brands, industries, campaigns, and target audiences
- Work with marketing and creative teams to translate campaign ideas into effective web experiences

Website Building & WordPress

- Build and customize websites using WordPress, Elementor, or similar website-building platforms
- Convert designs and concepts into functional, responsive web pages
- Customize page layouts, sections, menus, forms, buttons, and website components
- Maintain consistency between website design, branding, and content
- Create and update landing pages for marketing campaigns
- Manage website content, images, pages, and basic website settings

Technical Skills

- Web design and UI/UX principles
- WordPress and Elementor
- Responsive web design
- Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
- HTML and CSS
- Basic JavaScript is an asset
- Basic knowledge of domain, hosting, and website management is an asset

Requirements





- 1+ year of web design experience preferred
- Strong portfolio
- Solid attention to detail and visual design
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently
- Client website experience is an asset

Employment Conditions

Salary: To be determined through consultation

Employment Type: Full-time (3-month probation period)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (standard business hours)
