PART-TIME CONTENT CREATOR — SPACE CENTER VAUGHAN

$30/hour | Approx. 1 day per week

Space Center Vaughan is looking for a creative, energetic and trend-aware Content Creator to join our team on a part-time basis.

We are looking for someone who understands short-form content, knows how to create engaging Reels and TikToks, and can turn real moments inside Space Center into strong, dynamic social media content.

What you’ll do

* Film content according to an established content plan

* Shoot on both phone and camera, depending on the task

* Create content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories and promotional campaigns

* Film birthdays, STEM shows, field trips, private events, activities and everyday moments inside Space Center

* Edit short-form videos

* Follow current social media trends and understand what performs

* Suggest hooks, creative ideas, trending formats and new content concepts

* Work comfortably around children, families and staff

* Help organize simple content shoots when needed

* Follow a brief and deliver content in the required style

* Create authentic, energetic content rather than overly staged advertising

What we’re looking for

* Robust visual sense

* Understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends

* Good filming and editing skills

* Ability to work independently

* Comfortable communicating with people and directing simple shots

* Fast, creative and open to feedback

* Reliable and organized

* Experience with short-form video content

Professional commercial experience is an asset,



but your actual content quality matters more than formal education or certificates.

Selection Process

Our hiring process is simple and practical:

1. Short Interview

We’ll meet and discuss your experience, style and availability.

2. Practical Content Test

You will receive a simple content brief and create 2 short videos at Space Center.

3. Editing Test

You will edit one of the videos and show us the finished result.

We will evaluate:

* filming quality

* editing quality

* composition

* pacing

* creativity

* ability to follow a brief

* understanding of short-form social content

* overall fit with the Space Center brand

We are looking for someone who can do more than simply record video — we need a creator who understands what makes people stop scrolling and watch.

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 1 day per week

Pay: $30/hour
