Pest Control Technician

About the Role
Apollo Pest Management is looking for a motivated, dependable Pest Control Technician to join our team. You’ll perform inspections, identify pest issues, and apply protected, effective treatments across residential and commercial properties. You’ll work independently in a fast-paced field environment, building lasting relationships with customers along the way.

Responsibilities

- Inspect the interior and exterior of properties to identify the source and extent of infestations and access to infested areas
- Prepare and apply treatments using mechanical or electric sprayers, and set traps according to regulatory guidelines
- Study inspection findings and determine the treatment needed to eliminate pests and prevent recurrence
- Recommend preventive measures to clients
- Explain services clearly and identify additional services that will benefit customers
- Operate a company vehicle and maintain service equipment
- Document all work and submit it electronically after each visit
- Carry out other duties as required

Requirements

- Ontario Structural Pest Control Technician License (required),



or willingness to obtain it with training support
- Valid Ontario G driver’s license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physically fit: able to carry equipment and access attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor areas
- Robust communication, customer service, and time management skills
- Attention to detail, reliability, and professionalism
- Comfortable using smartphones, mobile apps, and basic tech tools
- Ability to work independently after training
- Fluent in English
- Passing a pre-employment background check

Nice to Have

- Commercial account or route-based field experience
- Knowledge of food plant requirements and auditing expectations
- Strong sales skills to promote services to clients

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
