Strength Within Psychotherapy is seeking a warm, skilled therapist to join our growing private practice as a part-time independent contractor.

This position is primarily in-person in Orangeville, with the option to also provide virtual psychotherapy to clients across Ontario. We are especially interested in clinicians who want to build a consistent local caseload and who bring training or areas of specialization that complement the existing practice.

- Ongoing investment in legal, privacy, technology, and practice infrastructure
- Potential opportunities to provide Movement & Exercise Psychotherapy™ for appropriately trained clinicians
- Planned development of in-house clinical supervision as the practice grows
- Future opportunities for qualified clinicians to participate in student supervision and training

The Role

Responsibilities may include:

- Providing primarily in-person psychotherapy in Orangeville
- Providing virtual psychotherapy across Ontario where desired
- Working with adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families depending on training and competence




- Conducting treatment planning and ongoing psychotherapy
- Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Managing risk and continuity-of-care concerns within professional scope
- Participating in monthly practice consultation and collaboration
- Maintaining all regulatory, ethical, privacy, insurance, and professional requirements

In-Person Availability

This posting is specifically intended to expand our in-person Orangeville capacity.

Applicants should be able to offer at least one consistent in-person day per week. Two or more in-person days would be particularly valuable.

Additional virtual availability is welcome. Evening and weekend availability is an asset.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must:

- Be registered and in good standing in Ontario as an RP, RP (Qualifying), RSW, OT, or other appropriately regulated mental health professional
- Hold a relevant master’s-level degree with graduate-level psychotherapy training
- Carry appropriate professional liability insurance
- Practice within their professional scope and areas of competence
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, professionalism, reliability, and communication
- Maintain timely clinical documentation and responsibility for their own caseload

RP (Qualifying) applicants are welcome to apply and must maintain appropriate external clinical supervision.

- Neurodivergence, including ADHD and Autism
- Children and adolescents
- First responders, veterans,



and public safety professionals
- Couples and relationship therapy
- EMDR
- Trauma and PTSD
- Somatic, embodied, experiential, or attachment-based therapies
- Grief and loss
- Parent or family support
- Women’s or men’s mental health
- OCD
- Addictions or concurrent disorders

Strength Within Psychotherapy is a growing Ontario psychotherapy practice based in Orangeville and providing virtual services across Ontario.

We support children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families through individualized, evidence-informed, collaborative psychotherapy.

As the practice expands, we are intentionally building a team of clinicians with complementary areas of expertise who can provide high-quality care while maintaining autonomy in their clinical work.
