Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team, providing essential maintenance and repair services across various facilities. This role requires a versatile individual with strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess leadership qualities, customer service skills, and experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance. Responsibilities

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct welding, electrical repairs, and mechanical adjustments as needed
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for work orders and documentation
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, ensuring safety standards are met
- Lead or support team members in maintenance tasks, demonstrating leadership qualities
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Ensure facilities are clean, protected, and compliant with regulatory standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility concerns promptly and professionally

Qualifications

- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or related fields
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Electrical experience including working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems
- Skilled in welding and general repair techniques
- Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and vendors
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently and safely
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to facilities maintenance and industrial environments
