JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the General Manager oversees the smooth operation of all aspects of the property. They plan, organize, direct, and control hotel operations to ensure the achievement of established standards and objectives. Directly involved in daily operations, the General Manager leads the hotel to satisfy guest needs and expectations while ensuring operational efficiency and profitability. Through strong leadership and management skills, they build and maintain team spirit and foster a deep sense of belonging among all employees at the property.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Plan all daily hotel activities and ensure effective coordination across different departments;
- Contribute to company objectives by maintaining high customer service standards;
- Participate in maximizing revenues in collaboration with the departments concerned;
- Ensure sound management of the hotel's material, financial, and human resources;
- Support the human resources department;
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations in force;
- Prepare and monitor the established budget for the property;
- Maintain operational cost control and review financial statements periodically;
- Participate in activities involving the hotel as a partner or host;
- And all other related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Two-year college or university degree in business management, hotel and restaurant management, or a related field; six years of experience in hotel management, sales and marketing, finance and accounting,



or a related professional field.

OR

- Four-year university degree in business management, hotel and restaurant management, or a related field; four years of experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or a related qualified field.
- Bilingualism in spoken and written French and English;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Excellent communication and team management skills;
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and late evenings/nights;
- Professional experience in the real estate sector demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance;
- Strong problem-solving abilities;
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of hospitality software applications.
