Essential Job Functions:

· Answering pendant calls; assisting with resident requests as needed

· Completes any nursing documentation accurately and legibly

· Assists with resident ambulation by means of portering to and from meals or activities

· Provides ongoing support to co-workers and acts as an advocate for residents and their families to ensure residents rights are protected

· Complies within infection control protocols as directed

· Assists with the collection of vital signs; when delegated

· Report to the RPN or Team Leader on duty any concerns

· Ensures that residents’ living space and personal belongings are kept clean, free from safety hazards, and organized according to residents’ personal choice.

· Complete wellness checks in the dining room





· Laundering as needed

· Follows Health & Wellness Policies and Procedures

· Complies with the obligations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, Infection Control Protocols, and all other applicable legislation and regulations

* Housekeeping duties including public areas and residential cleaning if needed

* To be available to cross train in all departments and have the flexibility to cover openings in all departments when needed *

Pay: From $18.69 per hour
