-Primary task is passivating stainless steel weldments. This requires the individual to wear protective coveralls, respirator, gloves and eye/face protection. All PPE is provided by the employer.

-Passivating is spraying, dipping or brushing on an acid based product. Once the acid is applied and has set for its recommended time it is typically removed with water from a pressure washer or garden hose.

-This task is done inside and outside depending on the physical size of the weldments. So the individual will be exposed to cold and hot weather depending on the time of year.

-The passivated material must meet industry standards so the individual must be detail oriented.

When not passivating the following tasks will be your responsibility

-Cleaning the shop and work spaces

-Organizing and cleaning the outside work and storage areas

-Loading and unload tractor trailers

-Grinding steel weldments as required
