KPI is recruiting an experienced Construction Safety Coordinator to support workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and hazard prevention across active construction operations in Calgary.

We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, working directly with construction crews, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring safety procedures are understood and followed.

This is a hands-on position requiring practical construction knowledge, solid communication, and the confidence to address unsafe work practices.

Responsibilities

- Conduct regular construction site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe work conditions.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety procedures and site requirements.

Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience coordinating safety programs on active construction sites.




- Strong knowledge of Alberta OHS legislation and construction safety practices.
- Experience conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, and worker orientations.
