Duties
- Assist licensed pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare prescriptions by counting, labeling, and packaging medications according to medical orders
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on over-the-counter products
- Maintain accurate medical terminology records and documentation for medication administration
- Support hospital or clinical pharmacy operations by coordinating medication deliveries and tracking stock levels
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and medication handling procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a community pharmacy setting is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to use Kroll is preferred
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations
- Must have computer proficiency to learn billing.
