POSITION: SITE ATTENDANT REPORTS TO: SITE MANAGER OR AREA MANAGER

Role Summary

The Site Attendant helps ensure every customer arrives at a Rubber Duck location that is clean, safe, fully operational, and ready to deliver a great experience.

As one of the people closest to the day-to-day operation of the site, the Site Attendant is responsible for identifying issues, keeping the property to a high standard, assisting with minor maintenance and equipment issues, and providing friendly, helpful service to customers.

1. Customer Experience

· Make every customer feel welcome by providing friendly, attentive, and helpful service.

· Help customers with loyalty programs and general questions.

· Respond constructively to customer concerns and assist with resolving straightforward issues.

· Help ensure every customer interaction reflects Rubber Duck’s Mission to clean cars and make people happy.

2. Site Inspection & Safety

· Complete required digital site inspections and checklists accurately and on time.

· Regularly inspect automatic wash systems, wash bays, vacuums, pump room equipment, and grounds for cleanliness, safety, and proper operation.

· Identify problems and take appropriate action in accordance with Rubber Duck procedures.

· Promptly communicate safety, equipment, or operational issues to the Site Manager as required.

Site Cleanliness & Appearance

· Keep wash bays, vacuum areas, entrances, and grounds clean and presentable.

· Sweep, remove garbage, and complete other routine cleaning throughout the site.

· Support seasonal property maintenance, including snow clearing around customer areas and basic grounds maintenance.

· Take ownership of the overall appearance of the site and address issues without waiting to be asked.

4. Equipment & Minor Repairs

· Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, including tasks such as trimming back hoses, replacing fittings and clearing blockages.

· Assist in troubleshooting basic equipment problems.

· Communicate equipment issues promptly and provide clear information about the problem.

· Help ensure equipment is reliable, operational, and ready for customers.

What Success Looks Like

A successful Site Attendant leaves the site better than they found it.

The property is clean, safe, and welcoming. Equipment and operational issues are identified and communicated promptly. Customers receive friendly and helpful service. Checklists and other responsibilities are completed reliably, and the Site Manager can count on receiving timely and accurate information about what is happening at the location.

Most importantly, the Site Attendant takes ownership of their responsibilities and contributes to the consistent operation and appearance of the site.

Working Conditions

This is an active, hands-on role that involves working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The position includes physical tasks associated with cleaning, maintaining, and operating a car wash location, including lifting and moving supplies, chemicals, and equipment. The role requires the safe use of tools, equipment, chemicals, and appropriate personal protective equipment.

The role also requires the use of mobile technology to complete inspections, communicate information, and support the day-to-day operation of the site.

The responsibilities outlined above describe the primary requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned from time to time in support of the team and the needs of the business.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
