Evening Housekeeper
Toronto, ON | Busy Household | Monday–Friday or Saturday | 30–36 hours/week | Shift 5:00–10:00 p.m.
Position Overview
Seeking a reliable, discreet, and highly organized private-service professional for evening household support in a busy home. The role ensures the residence is impeccably maintained and ready upon the homeowner’s return. Strong attention to detail, ability to anticipate needs, and independent work are essential. Coverage until 10:00 p.m. is required.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday or Saturday
- 30–36 hours per week
- Shift 5:00–10:00 p.m.
- Occasional additional weekend hours as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the full home to a high standard daily (kitchen, living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry, floors)
- Food prep for lunches and dinners
- Walk the two dogs (up to 2 hours per day total, typically around 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.) — this is an important daily task
- Light garden and outdoor maintenance
- Water plants daily and clean/sweep hallway at secondary property
- Misc errands
- Assist with schedule coordination, logistics, and occasional entertaining
- Light handyman tasks and odd jobs preferred
- Other related household and property duties as required
Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate needs and work independently
- Discretion, integrity, and sound judgment
- Qualified and service-oriented
- Comfortable with light outdoor work and dog walking
- Reliable transportation ideal but not required
- Self-motivated, friendly, and hardworking
Compensation
Hourly rate based on experience and ability. Start date flexible.
