Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious General Labourer to support a variety of outdoor property maintenance, landscaping, hardscaping, snow removal, and interior and exterior renovation projects. This hands-on role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, proper tool handling, and the ability to work in changing weather conditions. Duties will vary depending on project requirements and seasonal operational needs.

Responsibilities

- Assist with landscaping, lawn maintenance, garden work, planting, trimming, and general property upkeep.
- Support hardscaping projects, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, fencing, and other outdoor installations.
- Perform seasonal snow removal and ice management, including shovelling, clearing walkways, and operating equipment as directed.
- Assist with interior and exterior renovations, including demolition, material preparation, installations, repairs, and general construction tasks.
- Safely handle, operate, and maintain hand tools, power tools, and equipment appropriate to assigned tasks.
- Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and supplies at job sites.
- Prepare work areas, remove debris, dispose of waste appropriately, and maintain clean and organized job sites.
- Assist skilled workers and other team members with daily project requirements.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures,



use required personal protective equipment, and report hazards or damaged equipment to a supervisor.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions and assist with physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking.
- Perform other general labour and property maintenance duties as required.

Experience and Qualifications

- Previous experience in landscaping, hardscaping, construction, renovations, snow removal, or general labour is an asset.
- Understanding of proper tool handling, safe work practices, and the appropriate use of hand and power tools is required.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently when needed, and cooperate effectively with a team.
- Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and committed to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
- Physically capable of performing outdoor and construction-related tasks within safe lifting limits.
- Willingness to learn new skills, take direction, and adapt to different projects and seasonal work.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including winter conditions.
- A valid full driver's licence is preferred.
- Ability to travel between job sites and assist with transporting materials or equipment is an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
