Physiotherapist Job Description

Purpose of this position:

Ste. Anne’s currently offers an all-inclusive spa experience with Registered Massage Therapists and Estheticians, and we are looking to expand our wellness and treatment program further. The Physiotherapist would serve a clientele list composed of interested guests of Ste. Anne’s Spa,



in addition to private bookings amongst the community. The treatment room provided is located off-site, at 142 Aird Street, Grafton, associated with Ste. Anne’s.

We are looking for someone compassionate and caring, and we are open to new Physiotherapist graduates looking for an opportunity to build their experience, develop client relationships, and grow their own practice. Training and orientation for specialized equipment will be provided.

Job Summary:

- Full-time, permanent position
- Wage: $40.00 Additional wage incentives to additional modalities. Wages are further evaluated regularly to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive with the external market.

Responsibilities:

- Assess clients and develop individual treatment plans.
- Provide physiotherapy services, including therapeutic exercise, mobility, strengthening, rehabilitation, and manual therapy.
- Incorporate specialized technologies where appropriate and within your professional scope, including full-body light therapy, LED therapy, and shock wave therapy.
- Utilize medical terminology to document client conditions and treatment plans accurately.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitized.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their concerns.
- Demonstrate consistent professional conduct, including monitoring for appropriate language and topics of discussion during treatments.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures and aftercare instructions.

Qualifications:

- Valid Registered Physiotherapist in good standing
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Canadian Citizenship or Canadian Work Permit required
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written
- Commitment to professional ethics, client safety, confidentiality, and evidence-informed practice
