Are you a passionate environmental scientist looking to make a tangible impact?
We are seeking a Junior Environmental Scientist to join our dynamic team in Calgary. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and supporting Phase II ESA activities.
The Junior Environmental Scientist plays a critical role in supporting in the execution of remediation and reclamation programs. We are looking for an environmental scientist eager to build a strong foundation across the full lifecycle of oil and gas site monitoring, assessment, remediation, and reclamation.
Our ideal candidate brings solid interpersonal, communication, and writing skills, combined with keen attention to detail and a deep sense of accountability, making them a valuable team player who can also thrive independently. This position will initially be 100% office based, with a staged introduction to fieldwork following the first year. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Make a Difference

- Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) and associated reporting.
- Assist with the interpretation of analytical results and associated reporting.
- Assist with the preparations of reports, work plans, and cost estimates.




- Commit to maintaining a secure and healthy work environment by adhering to established health, safety, and quality standards.
- Actively participate in safety initiatives, report potential hazards, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Utilize your Education and Expertise

- Undergraduate degree or diploma in science or land reclamation.
- Registration with an Alberta professional association considered an asset.
- Possess solid interpersonal skills, communication skills and technical writing skills.
- Driven by a commitment to excellence and a deep sense of accountability.
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and independently.
- Keen attention to detail.
- A good sense of humour and strong admiration of our Mullet culture is an asset.
