Pro West has been operating across Western Canada for over 20 years and is continuing to grow our Winnipeg Branch.
We are an established Mechanical Contractor providing commercial and industrial plumbing, heating, gas and mechanical services. As our Winnipeg division continues to expand, we are looking for an experienced Journeyman/Woman Plumber / Gasfitter to join our team.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot and complete work independently, and wants to be part of a growing operation with long-term opportunity.
A signing bonus will be offered to the successful candidate.
What You'll Be Doing
- Install, repair and maintain plumbing, heating and gas systems
- Complete commercial and industrial plumbing installations
- Perform service, troubleshooting and diagnostic work
- Install, service and repair gas-fired equipment
- Complete mechanical equipment installations
- Work on renovation, service and new construction projects
- Work closely with the Branch Manager to coordinate jobs, scheduling and materials
- Complete work independently and as part of a team
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service
- Complete work safely and efficiently
- Travel to other work locations when required
- Perform other related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
- Journeyman/Woman Plumber certification
- Gas B licence required
- Gas A licence is a strong asset
- Strong plumbing, heating and gas experience
- Commercial and industrial experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems considered an asset
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, motivated and skilled
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Valid driver's licence
Experienced 3rd and 4th year Plumbing Apprentices are also encouraged to apply.
