Job Opportunity: Warehouse Cleaner

Duration: 1-month temporary assignment (with potential for extension)
Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Cleaner to maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the warehouse. The role involves waste removal, recycling, sweeping, and general warehouse cleaning and maintenance.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse.
- Break down cardboard boxes and remove trash, shrink wrap, banding, and other waste materials.
- Sweep floors and keep work areas free of debris.
- Sort scrap materials for disposal and recycling.
- Operate trash compactors and industrial vacuum cleaners as required.
- Move warehouse gondolas and materials to support cleaning activities.
- Assist with proper material stacking and organization.
- Follow safety procedures when handling hazardous materials.
- Comply with applicable workplace safety regulations.
- Wear required personal protective equipment.
- Work effectively with team members to complete daily tasks.

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma, GED,



or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to maintain a sense of urgency.
- Flexibility to accommodate work requirements.

Physical Requirements

- Frequently lift, push, pull, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Perform repetitive bending, reaching, and occasional ladder climbing.
- Work in varying temperatures and environments with exposure to dust, noise, and airborne particles.
- Work safely around warehouse equipment and machinery, including forklifts.

Required Safety Equipment

- Steel-toe safety boots.
- Safety vest.
- Safety glasses and other protective equipment as required.

Language Requirement

English communication skills required.
