This job includes but is not limited to: Plant maintenance, crop care and harvest, planting/transplanting, produce packaging. A person working here needs some knowledge of plant health and fertigation needs, ability to think outside the box and do problem solving, plus everything that goes into working in an hydroponic facility. We're looking specifically for knowledge in growing Asian vegetables.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You shall be responsible for the following tasks:

· Fertilizer application, pruning, and tidy up the environment.

· Assist in soil bed preparation, irrigation, and watering crops.

· Record keeping, and daily updates on inventories.

· Harvest vegetables, sort and grade, weigh, wrap cucumbers, and pack the vegetables appropriately.

· Transfer already packed produce to the vehicle, offload empty crates and inputs from the truck.

· Give report on noticed insect or any disease manifestation.

· Daily plants maintenance as well as tools and equipment regular maintenance.

· Clean and sanitize trays, racks, harvesting tools and bins, packaging and working areas.

WORK SCHEDULE

You shall work 30.00 hours per week.

5. You shall be entitled to two fifteen (15) minute paid breaks per day and you may take up to a one hour non-paid lunch break per day.

6. You shall receive vacation pay with each paycheque, beginning with the first paycheque received.
