Job Overview

- We are seeking a friendly, attentive Host/Hostess/Server to help create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience.
- This role combines guest services, seating, and serving responsibilities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Prior restaurant, food service, or food industry experience is helpful. Training may be provided for candidates who are eager to learn.

Duties

- Welcome guests, manage seating, and communicate wait times clearly.
- Take and enter orders using a POS system; experience with POS is a plus.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, and check in with guests throughout their visit.
- Answer questions about menu items and ingredients, and support food handling and food safety practices.
- Assist with basic food preparation and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate, timely orders.
- Process payments, operate the cashier station, and handle cash accurately.
- Suggest menu items when appropriate and use thoughtful upselling to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain clean,



organized dining and service areas by following sanitation procedures.
- Work collaboratively with the team and manage multiple tasks with robust time management.

Requirements

- Solid customer service, communication, and hospitality skills.
- Ability to provide attentive guest services and work effectively in a team.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills; prior cashiering experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with serving, food handling, food safety, sanitation, and food preparation practices, or willingness to learn.
- Restaurant, food service, food industry, or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Comfort using a POS system; POS experience is a plus.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a busy environment.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
