Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a family medicine/family medical clinic setting. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care across diverse populations, including seniors, children. The LPN will play a vital role in supporting patient health through skilled nursing interventions and collaborative healthcare practices.

Duties

- ⁠Initial management towards urgent patient
- ⁠Triage and rooming patients.
- ⁠Wart treatments and follow ups.
- Manual blood pressure measurement and vital signs
- Suture removal and wound dressings
- Ear flushing
- Sterilization and handling autoclave
- Assisting physicians with basic clinical procedures
- Restocking and maintaining medical supplies
- Other routine nursing duties within the clinic

Qualifications

- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)




- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and pain management techniques
- Proficiency with electronic health records systems is a plus, experience with Ava emr would be an asset, but it is not mandatory.
- Robust patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including children and seniors
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail and adherence to safety standards
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating patients and families
