310T Truck Mechanic
Pay: $40.88 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Summary
We're looking for a licensed 310T Truck Mechanic to join our Fleet Maintenance team!
In this role, you'll help keep our trucks, trailers, and equipment operating safely and efficiently. Working alongside experienced mechanics and under the direction of the Leadhand, Foreman, or Shop Manager, you'll perform repairs, complete maintenance tasks, and help ensure our equipment is ready for the road.
Job Responsibilities

- Assist with diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Complete assigned repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Accurately document all work performed, keeping maintenance records complete and up to date.
- Complete vehicle inspection sheets in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines.
- Track and record daily parts usage to support inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Perform road tests when directed to confirm that repairs have been completed safely and effectively.
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe, including properly storing tools and equipment.




- Work alongside senior mechanics to troubleshoot mechanical issues and gain hands-on experience with a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials.
- Perform other duties as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

- A valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician licence (proof of licence required).
- A valid driver's licence.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety, including following safety policies, regulations, and best practices.
- The ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance software such as TMT.
- Mechanical aptitude and an understanding of truck maintenance and repair.
- A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- An honest, diplomatic, and trustworthy approach to your work.

Working Conditions

- Hourly position based on a 40-hour workweek.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
