Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Assistant Manager to lead our nursing team and oversee patient care operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive clinical experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional senior care. This role involves managing staff, coordinating clinical services, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards to promote optimal health outcomes for residents.

Duties

- Supervise nursing staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team.
- Oversee daily care activities, ensuring adherence to care plans and medical protocols.
- Coordinate case management efforts, including assessments, care planning, and documentation for residents with complex needs such as dementia or chronic conditions.
- Administer medications accurately while maintaining compliance with medication safety standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care strategies that address pain management, acute illnesses, or specialized needs within senior care.




- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems.

Experience

- Proven experience working in hospital settings or long-term care facilities with a focus on senior or assisted living populations.
- Demonstrated leadership in supervising nursing teams within acute or long-term care environments.
- Extensive background in patient care, including dementia care, pain management, and pediatrics when applicable.
- Familiarity with home care services and case management practices.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and experience working with electronic health records systems
- Prior experience in nursing home or senior care facilities is highly desirable.
- Additional skills preferred include medical terminology proficiency, assisted living experience, supervising experience, and familiarity with medical procedures like phlebotomy and medication administration.

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
