Brokel Stainless Ltd. is an Edmonton-based custom stainless steel fabrication company specializing in commercial kitchen equipment and architectural stainless steel products. We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and motivated Sheet Metal Worker / Site Installer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience installing commercial kitchen equipment, stainless steel countertops, handrails, railings, and other custom-fabricated metal products. We are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

- Install commercial kitchen equipment, including stainless steel countertops, tables, sinks, cabinets, shelves, hoods, and other custom-fabricated products.
- Install architectural stainless steel products, including handrails, guardrails, stair railings, wall panels, and miscellaneous metalwork.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and installation specifications.
- Perform site measurements, layouts, leveling, fitting, and adjustments to ensure accurate installations.
- Drill, anchor, fasten, assemble, and secure stainless steel components to various building surfaces.
- Perform minor on-site modifications, cutting, grinding, finishing, and adjustments as required.
- Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth installations.
- Assist with shop fabrication, assembly, material handling, and preparation of products for installation when required.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and cleanliness on job sites.
- Travel to project sites within Edmonton and surrounding areas, with occasional out-of-town work as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous experience in sheet metal work, metal fabrication, construction, or commercial installations preferred.
- Experience installing commercial kitchen equipment, stainless steel handrails, or architectural metalwork is a strong asset.




- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and shop drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, drills, grinders, and measuring equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an installation crew.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, positioning, and installing metal products.
- Valid driver's licence preferred.
- Knowledge of construction site safety procedures and safe work practices.
- Welding experience is an asset but not mandatory.

We are willing to train candidates with transferable construction or mechanical skills who demonstrate reliability, initiative, and a strong work ethic. The wages will depend on experience and skill set.
