GP Commercial Food Equipment & Services is a locally owned business, serving the Peace Region in our 15th year of business! We are on the search to add an additional full time member who enjoys a customer focused, fast-paced, team environment.
This technician is working on commercial kitchen equipment all across Northern Alberta & BC - such as espresso machines, commercial coffee brewers, ovens, steamers, refrigeration displays, Coolers/Freezers, frozen beverage equipment, deep fryers, dishwashers, coffee equipment, and other restaurant kitchen equipment.
Service Technician Duties
- Conduct voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical test equipment
- Prepare written estimates of repair costs
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements
- Refer to schematic drawings or product manuals to repair parts
- Diagnose faults, using testing devices
- Repair electrical appliances and components
- Replace faulty components
- Advise customers on work performed and condition of equipment
- Use shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust and reprogram appliance

Pay: $27.00-$29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 48.0 per week
