Casual / Part-Time Sales & Production Assistant

Nexgen Signs & Printing Inc. – Edmonton, AB

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated, and reliable individual to join our team on a casual / part-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, has strong customer service skills, and is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting with customer inquiries, sales, and preparing quotes
- Helping customers with signage, printing, apparel, and promotional product orders
- Supporting daily office and administrative duties
- Assisting our production team with preparing, organizing, and finishing orders
- Helping with general tasks to keep operations running smoothly

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Is comfortable working with computers
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Is flexible and willing to learn recent skills
- Has previous sales, printing, or sign industry experience (an asset, but not required)

- We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Casual Sales Assistant to support our sales team.
- This casual role suits someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and an interest in sales.

Duties.

- Support sales through helpful recommendations and relevant upselling.
- Operate the POS system, process transactions.
- Assist with cashiering, basic calculations, and routine sales-floor tasks.
- Replenish stock and maintain attractive, accurate merchandising displays.
- Keep the sales area tidy and organized, and assist with other store duties as needed.
- Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues, including using professional phone etiquette.

Skills

- Strong customer service, sales, and retail sales skills.
- Clear communication skills and professional phone etiquette.
- Confidence explaining products; technology sales, product demos, and technical sales experience are desirable.
- Ability to use a POS system and perform cashiering, cash handling, and basic math accurately.
- Good time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- English proficiency required; bilingual or multilingual abilities are an advantage.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
