Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and help maintain accurate financial records. This role is suited to someone building a career in accounting who is comfortable working with financial data, learning accounting systems, and collaborating with colleagues across the organization.

Responsibilities

- Assist with bookkeeping and routine accounting tasks, including recording transactions and maintaining organized financial documentation.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, verify supporting records, and help resolve discrepancies.
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation, investigate variances, and maintain accurate account balances.
- Support payroll processing and related recordkeeping.
- Assist with account analysis and preparation of financial reports and schedules.
- Help prepare documentation for audits and assist with external auditing requests.




- Follow established accounting procedures and help ensure records are complete, accurate, and properly organized.
- Assist in preparing HST filings
- Order and maintain all office supplies

Requirements

- Education or experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial services, or a related field
- Solid attention to detail, organization, and accuracy when handling financial information.
- Knowledge of excel
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively, manage priorities, and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Exceptional Time Management Skills (Meet deadlines)
- Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Pay: $45,000.00-$46,500.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5H 3M7
