Third Wave Coffee Company has been offering great food, coffee and gifts in Crofton the last 7 years and we need a great person to join our team! You are a reliable and mature individual with a positive outlook, who is always looking for solutions, and has both coffee and management experience. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic who is ready for their next opportunity.

The Assistant Manager we are looking for will:

- Assist the store manager in operational tasks such as ordering, scheduling, stocking, managing staff and ensuring quality and consistency at all times for our customers
- Make and prepare a wide variety of specialty coffee drinks
- Make and prepare the menu of breakfast sandwiches and baking and other food preparation including baking
- Cares about great customer service
- Completes opening and closing duties in an organized manner
- Leads by example and is able to assist, support and manage other staff
- Has a vested interest in making sure the store operates smoothly at all times, as they will eventually be responsible for running operations when the manager is away

More About the Position

- Shifts range from 4-8 hours, for an average of 30+ hours/week
- The schedule is currently written 1-2 weeks in advance
- Our business hours are currently 6-6 M-F,



730-6 Sat, 8-6 Sun, an hour before for open shifts and one hour after for closing shifts
- Anytime availability is strongly preferred

Qualifications:

- Must have a positive demeanor, strong work ethic, exceptional customer service skills and is a team player
- Barista experience strongly preferred
- Management experience strongly preferred
- Decent computer literacy
- Reliable transit to work in Crofton
- Competent English literacy
- Solid cash handling skills
- Food Safe Level 1 is required before your first shift
