Milestone Customs Brokers Inc. is a licensed Customs brokerage registered with CBSA. Over decade of experience with strength on compliance, accuracy and customer service is what we are proud of in this industry. Our services cover Customs clearance, compliance & consultation, CARM NRI BOND LVS and other Customs related affairs.

We are currently hiring a **full-time Customs Specialist**. This is a perfect role if you are detail-oriented, proactive working and enjoy career in Customs brokerage industry.

Responsibilities

- Create, review, verify, submit and close entry for full cycle Customs release.
- Request and verify documentation to meet compliance standard
- Build and maintain excellent relationships internally and externally with clients and service providers
- Monitor emails and respond promptly to provide updates, answer inquiries, and solve issues
- Take initiative and assist with other duties as needed

Experience

- 3+ years of work experience in brokerage firm required
- Exceptional comprehensive knowledge of HS#, OGD/PGA, SIMA, surtax, tariff treatment,



etc.
- Advanced knowledge on Customs laws, regulations and compliance
- Strong attention to details, fast and accurate typing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues, including professional email manner
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks independently under pressure
- Experience with freight co-ordination an asset
- Diploma in International Logistics, Customs, or a related field preferred
- CCS(preferred)
- Mandarin(preferred)
