Overview
We are seeking a hardworking individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a basic framing or construction knowledge. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting, operating power tools, and working both independently and as part of a team and will need reliable transportation .
Duties
- Construct and install wood and steel frameworks for buildings
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Engage in heavy lifting of materials such as lumber
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain a clean worksite and organize tools and materials for optimal workflow
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or related fields with a focus on framing
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid working at heights certification is advantageous but not mandatory
