Our client is currently looking for a skilled heavy equipment operator to join their team.
This position is located out of Stony Plain, AB - just 35 minutes west of Edmonton.

Responsibilities
- Operate cranes and related equipment for project and taxi crane work.
- Perform crane operations in various locations, including out-of-town assignments.
- Assist with truck driving duties to support crane positioning and mobility.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Follow safety protocols and industry regulations for crane operations.
- Load and unload materials using cranes and rigging equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and operational hours.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and report maintenance needs.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications
- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Mobile Crane ticket.
- Applicants with apprenticeship experience may be considered based on skill level.
- Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
- Experience operating Picker trucks and Liebherr All Terrain cranes is an asset.
- Familiarity with rigging procedures and equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.

Pay: $52.00-$65.00 per hour
