OT Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Located in downtown Toronto, the Toronto Eaton Centre is one of North America's busiest retail landmarks. Working at this iconic site offers a fast-paced, high-energy environment where our team helps ensure a safe, welcoming experience for thousands of daily shoppers, tenants, and visitors.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Security Guard at the Toronto Eaton Centre, you will help maintain safety and order across a prominent retail property. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Conducting regular interior and exterior patrols of mall concourses, entrances, and parking areas.

- Managing access control points by checking identification and assisting visitors, vendors, and staff.

- Monitoring CCTV, alarm systems, and site activity to identify and address security concerns quickly.

- Responding promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.

- Maintaining a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and safety violations.

- Delivering explicit, helpful customer service to visitors seeking directions or assistance.

- Enforcing site policies, building regulations, and safety standards consistently.

- Checking doors, locks, and safety equipment routinely, reporting maintenance or safety hazards immediately.

Must Haves

- Valid Ontario Security License.

- Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a WSIB-approved provider.

- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.

- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

- Willingness to complete Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)



certification prior to onboarding (funded by Paladin with a 6-month commitment).

Nice-to-Haves

- Prior experience working in security or high-traffic retail environments.

- Post-secondary education in law enforcement, security management, or a related field.
