Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications

- 1-2 years of professional software development experience, or a recent graduate with relevant internship or co-op experience.
- Proficiency in C# or a similar object-oriented language (such as Java).
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) through coursework, personal projects, or prior experience.
- Exposure to working with LLMs in agentic development (for example, building agents or using agentic coding tools like Claude Code), through work, coursework, or personal projects.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic software development practices, including code review and automated testing.
- Foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Robust communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and learn production operations practices.

Qualifications:

These skills are not required on day one, but they are highly valued:

- Experience calling LLM APIs, prompt design, or writing evals.
- Experience with Python and the .NET Orleans framework.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, and with CI/CD, Docker, and containerization concepts.
- Interest in Generative AI and experience using AI-powered coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) for learning and productivity.
- Expected Salary: 75,000 -100,000 CAD
