As a Powertrain OBD Calibration Specialist you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing cutting-edge calibration solutions for engine diagnostics.
In this dynamic role you will manage all technical aspects of OBD diagnostic calibrations to meet CARB regulations. You will collaborate with our team to identify system requirements during hardware design ensuring a robust and efficient diagnostic system. Additionally you will utilize standard instrumentation toolsets for data acquisition storage and analysis and calibrate diagnostic thresholds to comply with CARB standards. Your work will be pivotal in providing regular overview summaries and detailed reports on specific assignments including timing projections.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in powertrain engine diagnostics.
- Proficiency in using INCA Matlab and Simulink/Stateflow.
- Basic understanding of gasoline propulsion system hardware and function.
- Ability to travel 2 - 4 weeks throughout the year for system validation/verification including trips to hot and altitude areas once or twice per year.
Preferences
- Experience working in a hybrid resource type environment.
- Familiarity with Stellantis systems and processes.
This is a 12-month contract position requiring 40 hours per week with a start date of August 17 2026. A Stellantis laptop and badge will be provided and driving is required for this role.
