Head of Planning and Management Control (Financial Services)

Location: Montreal, QC

Reports to: CFO Americas

Team: 9 professionals

Base salary: $180K to $200K

About the role

emergiTEL is hiring for a client in financial services. You will lead financial planning, management reporting, forecasting and expense control across the Americas, and manage a team spread over three locations.

What you’ll do

- Lead the annual budget and the quarterly and monthly forecasts for Head Office
- Oversee monthly P&L; analysis and management dashboards for senior management and the Board
- Review variances and give transparent insights to support decisions
- Manage regional expenses, allocations, recharges and bonus accruals
- Lead, coach and develop your team,



and improve tools and processes

What you bring

- 10 to 15 years in financial planning, management control or financial reporting
- Experience leading teams, ideally across more than one location
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and Essbase expertise
- Good knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business (preferred)
- Financial services experience (an asset)
