Genevant seeks an experienced Director or Senior Director for its Legal team. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, this position supports research and development contracts, software licenses, collaborations, and broader transactional needs. The work connects Legal with Business Development, R&D;, Procurement, Finance, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and manage varied organizational contracts
- Support complex technology license and collaboration negotiations
- Maintain an effective contract management system
- Track agreements, renewals, amendments, extensions,
and key dates
- Explain contractual commitments, risks, and priorities clearly
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor from a recognized law school
- Two to six years’ relevant contracts or corporate experience
- Independent end-to-end contract negotiation and management experience
- British Columbia law license in good standing
- Robust executive communication, judgment, and business acumen
