Real Canadian Electric Ltd. is a growing electrical contractor based in Calgary, Alberta. We specialize in residential and commercial service, renovations, troubleshooting, electrical upgrades, and custom installations.

With several projects underway in Calgary and Canmore, we're looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician or capable 3rd–4th Year Apprentice to join our team. Immediate start available.

We're looking for someone who brings experience, maturity, initiative, and a genuine commitment to quality workmanship. The ideal candidate enjoys problem-solving, works well with others, and takes responsibility for completing work safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, renovations, and service work.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Install conduit, wiring, electrical equipment, and associated systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and develop practical solutions.
- Coordinate effectively with teammates, customers, and other trades.
- Maintain high standards of safety, organization, and workmanship.
- Take initiative in planning and completing assigned work efficiently.

Qualifications

- Alberta Journeyman Electrician certification or registered 3rd–4th Year Electrical Apprentice.




- Experience in residential or commercial electrical installations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently within applicable qualifications and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a qualified attitude.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to take responsibility.
