Queen's University

Kingston

Few universities can say their alumni are among the most loyal in the country. Queen’s can.

One of Canada’s oldest and most distinctive institutions, Queen’s is known as much for the strength of its community as for its academic excellence. Our alumni stay connected, stay engaged and stay passionate long after they graduate. That gives us a remarkable foundation to build on.

You will lead a talented team across major and leadership giving, gift planning, corporate and foundation relations, and prospect development, while personally managing a portfolio of high-value prospects. You’ll shape and deliver the plans that move fundraising performance forward and grow income across every stream.

Reporting to the Vice Principal (Advancement) and a membership of her Leadership Team, you’ll work at the most senior levels of the University. You will be a key source of strategic guidance and support for university leaders, academics, and fundraising colleagues across the University and will build the programmes and partnerships that advance Queen’s mission and ambitions.

What you’ll bring

- Demonstrated success securing transformational philanthropic investments and advancing institutional fundraising priorities
- Deep knowledge of advancement best practices, with a proven track record in build capability, elevate performance, and accelerate fundraising growth across teams
- Experience navigating complex institutional environments, bringing together the right people, expertise, and resources to advance shared objectives

This is an opportunity at one of Canada's most prestigious universities at a time of real momentum. If you’re ready to help an ambitious university with an extraordinary community reach its full philanthropic potential, we’d love to hear from you.
