Ascend Group is one of Ontario’s fastest-growing HVAC distributors. Headquartered in Mississauga, we serve trade customers across the province through five branches. We are now adding a residential ventilation product line and building the team to take it to market.

The Role

This role has two parts. In the mornings, you will run inside sales at our Markham branch. On set afternoons each week, you will be in the field, building a new customer channel for ventilation products. You will own both the day-to-day service of trade customers and the launch of a new product line in the GTA.

What You’ll Do

Inside Sales: HVAC

- Be the main contact for contractor customers at the Markham branch, by phone, by email and at the counter.
- Prepare quotes, process orders through our B2B portal, and coordinate pickups and deliveries.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of small and mid-sized trade accounts.
- Spot opportunities to sell across our product lines.

Channel Development:



Ventilation

- Build a network of building-material retailers, kitchen and bath showrooms, electrical suppliers and renovation contractors across York Region and the eastern GTA.
- Present the product line, manage samples and displays, and onboard new accounts.
- Track your pipeline and report market feedback to leadership.

What We’re Looking For

- 2+ years of B2B sales experience in building materials, plumbing, electrical, kitchen and bath, or HVAC
- Equally comfortable at the counter and in the field, and organized enough to balance both
- Strong Inside Sales and Sales skills, with experience handling inbound and outbound customer interactions
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication with customers and internal teams
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Comfort with ordering systems, CRM tools and Microsoft 365
- HVAC product knowledge is an asset; full training is provided
