Our work gives patients a platform to share their experiences, helps Canadians better understand their health and allows our team to create work that can make a genuine difference in people’s lives.
We are equally proud of our team culture. Atlas offers a collaborative, inclusive and supportive environment where team members are trusted with meaningful responsibility, empowered to share ideas and given every opportunity to grow, connect and thrive.
POSITION TITLE: Program Manager
About the Opportunity: We’re looking for a Program Manager to join our growing team and take ownership of the management and execution of integrated healthcare marketing campaigns.
This is an opportunity to be involved in campaigns from ideation through execution, rather than managing just one piece of the process. You’ll work closely with clients, stakeholders, patients, physicians, advocates, and the broader Atlas team to bring meaningful healthcare campaigns to life.
The role combines project management, client relations, creative thinking and strategic problem solving. You’ll manage multiple campaigns, collaborate with our creative team, navigate regulatory reviews, and contribute ideas that can shape both our client work and the future of Atlas.
Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys taking ownership, building strong relationships and gets excited to see their ideas come to life.
REPORTING: As our Program Manager, you will report directly to two members of our Program Leadership team. In this role, you will work side-by-side with them, taking full ownership of campaign execution, navigating regulatory reviews and contributing to impactful content creation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage multiple ongoing client projects while maintaining the highest level of quality and ensuring projects deliver on confirmed strategic goals.
- Manage project timelines and workflows to ensure campaigns launch on time and within budget.
- Lead creative development for assigned projects, working collaboratively with our creative team to produce campaign materials.
- Complete required client regulatory reviews for content developed.
- When required, obtain content approval through ASC and PAAB.
- Ensure clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal team members throughout the project management process.
- Build and maintain exceptional relationships with clients and stakeholders while identifying opportunities for Atlas to further support our partners beyond the existing scope of projects.
- Ensure contracts and agreements with stakeholders remain up to date and help support stakeholder requests.
- Actively participate in the strategic development of Atlas’ product offering and provide input on opportunities to unlock new revenue from existing clients.
- Maintain an awareness of market trends and opportunities aligned with Atlas’ long-term goals and vision.
- Assist in the creation of internal and client-facing marketing materials.
- Support administrative tasks and other team initiatives as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education / Experience:
- University degree or College Diploma in business, science, communications or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience directly working on and executing healthcare marketing campaigns.
- Previous experience at a pharmaceutical company considered an asset.
- Previous experience in content creation and/or digital marketing considered an asset.
- Complete understanding of the pharmaceutical regulatory environment including ASC and PAAB.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Bilingual (French and English) considered a strong asset.
Key Competencies and Behavioral Attributes:
- Proven track record of building trust and strong relationships with pharmaceutical clients, with an unflinching commitment to client satisfaction.
- Ability to consult with key partners and leverage content across diverse platforms (websites, social media, TV, mobile) to meet client objectives.
- A genuine passion for healthcare and compelling storytelling, with strong creative writing skills considered a major asset.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize, multitask proactively, and adapt to shifting timelines and priorities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and an innate drive to consistently deliver high-quality work.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across all team and stakeholder interactions.
- Strategic problem-solver who approaches challenges with curiosity, creativity, openness and sound judgment.
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and the initiative to work independently.
- Eagerness to learn new skills and industry trends, alongside an interest in participating in industry conferences, charity events and patient-advocacy fundraisers.
Other Requirements:
While this role offers remote working arrangements, we also value in-person connection.
You’ll periodically join the team at our downtown Toronto office (68 Claremont St.) for collaborative sessions, as well as attend client meetings or client locations (typically monthly).
COMPENSATION AND OTHER ADVANTAGES:
Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience
Health & Wellness: Comprehensive health benefits coverage, including a Health Care Spending Account (HSA) and Wellness Spending Account (WSA)
Growth & Culture: Coverage and support for continuous learning for select conferences and courses, expert-led workshops and team-building and social events
Vacation: 3 weeks’ of paid vacation (prorated for your first year)
Hours of Work: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Location & Work Setting: A remote-first work environment built on an inclusive, team-oriented and supportive team culture. For team members who thrive on in-person connection, you’ll also have optional access to Atlas HQ in downtown Toronto whenever you want to work from an office.
Start Date: This position is available for immediate hire. Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
LIFE AT ATLAS:
We believe people do their best work when they’re trusted, supported and genuinely enjoy being part of a team.
Atlas has built a remote, inclusive, and supportive culture that gives our team flexibility while creating plenty of opportunities to collaborate, learn, and spend time together.
From day one, you are set up for success through a thorough training and onboarding program, paired with ongoing support for personal and professional development through funded conferences and courses. We continuously educate, challenge, and inspire our team with regular expert-led learning sessions, while creating opportunities to connect beyond day-to-day work through regular social events and shared team experiences.
Here, your ideas come to life directly across Patient Voice’s TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube channels. Most importantly, you will work on projects that matter and help change the way we talk about health, one story at a time. We’ve worked hard to make Atlas a place where talented people can build rewarding careers, develop new skills, contribute meaningful ideas and genuinely enjoy the people they work alongside.
