What We’re Looking For

Kongsberg Geospatial is looking for a Quality Management Specialist to work on and maintains an active QMS with strong management support. The successful candidate will work to ensure that the quality standards and policies of the organization are followed and help find importunities for improvement. We have a need for approximately 90-110 days of support over the period of January, 2027 to November, 2027. The work can be done to a adaptable schedule.

This is a temporary casual position with an initial employment term of ten (10) months. The role will be a hybrid position working out of our Ottawa, Ontario office.

Duties include

- Plan and conduct all the internal audits – during the period of about March to August (about 10 in total)
- Help with an ISO 9001 recertification audit, planned for next September (a 4 day audit)
- Help conduct the routine work of the QMS




- Make improvements as needed to processes and procedures
- Document audit reports and findings, track audit findings, help staff as needed to establish plans for findings
- Collect and manage KPIs
- Help with management review meetings
- Provide internal communications on all things QMS

- Assist in the upgrade of the QMS to ISO 9001: 2026

You have

- 3 years of ISO 9001 auditing experience
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Expert knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
- Strong English language writing skills
- Excellent communications skills
- Experience working in an engineering or software development company (many of the audits will be of engineering teams)

The base annual salary for this role is $75,000 - $100,000. Base salary will be prorated based on actual hours worked. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including job-related skills, experience, internal equity and relevant education or training.
