Role: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Location: Toronto / Brampton, Ontario, Canada – Hybrid

Experience: 4+ Years

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), production support, application support, or DevOps.
- Experience supporting Java-based applications in production environments.
- Positive understanding of Java application architecture, application logs, exceptions, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix commands, shell scripting, and basic automation.
- Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, networking, and application connectivity.
- Experience with incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, and change management.




- Basic understanding of databases and SQL for troubleshooting application issues.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional technical teams.

Good to Have

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, and automated deployment tools.
- Understanding of performance monitoring, capacity planning, and application tuning.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Experience working in Agile environments and following ITIL-based operational processes.
