We are seeking a professional and mature caregiver to live with our client, in his lovely home. The job will entail 7 hours per day of active caregiving tasks such as transfers, bathing, meal support in addition to overnight availability in case of emergency. This is a live-in role, please don't apply if you are not wanting a live-in situation. The client has a lovely, recent suite built for the caregiver.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Permanent Resident of Canada
- Class 5 drivers license
- Cleared and recent Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Experience as a caregiver, live-in experience preferred
- Ability to cook and follow a recipie
- Ability to tidy and organize house
This is private hire position, the client will pay EI, CPP contributions, WCB coverage and vacation time. The private caregiver suite is considered part of the salary compensation.
The ideal candidate will benefit from this accomodation as part of the job.
Candidate is welcome to have a part time job or school in the mornings if it can be accomodated around the active caregiving hours which will be from 12:15pm-5:15pm and then again 8:15pm-10:15pm 6 days per week.
